Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation

Spring is a time for rejuvenation: daylight hours are longer, the weather is beginning to warm up, and nature is reawakening. This time of year is also a great opportunity to rejuvenate ourselves, both internally and externally. Winter’s harsh weather can impact our skin’s health, causing skin conditions to flare up, and leaving it in need of care. Read on to learn more about some of our minimally or non-invasive Advanced Aesthetics services for skin rejuvenation.

What is skin rejuvenation?

The goal of skin rejuvenation is to improve the appearance of skin to a more youthful look. As we age, our skin is impacted and changes in response to different experiences. Skin rejuvenation treatments help address various skin conditions including wrinkles, scars, sunspots, and sagging.

Treatment procedure:

Forma uses radiofrequency energy to heat and target deep layers of tissue beneath the skin’s surface. A heated wand is used to target different areas of the face and body.

What it does:

Forma improves skin’s smoothness and gives a radiant glow by naturally stimulating collagen production. It also lifts and tightens areas of the face and body, which helps to treat lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

Treatment procedure:

A topical numbing cream is first applied to the treatment area. The skin then undergoes bipolar radio-frequency using a fractional laser to resurface the skin.

What it does:

Fractora reduces the appearance of scarring, including impacts from acne. It is also used to treat wrinkles, loose skin, and discoloration on the skin. Fractora is most commonly used on the face, and it is also suitable for areas of the body that exhibit aging, uneven pigmentation, and stretch marks.

Treatment procedure:

Microneedling uses a dermaroller that pricks the top layer of skin with thin, tiny needles.

What it does:

The microneedling process helps to generate the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that make the skin smooth and firm. Microneedling is most often used on the face to treat enlarged pores, fine lines, wrinkles, and thin skin. It can also be used on other areas of the body with damaged or aging skin.
